About the AuthorJohn J. Xenakis has been a computer industry consultant for over 30 years, and a technology journalist and columnist for over 20 years, having written on technology for the Boston Globe and other publications. For ten years, he was Software Editor for the Boston Computer Society magazine, for two years he was Boston Bureau Chief for InformationWeek Magazine, and for nine years he was Technology Editor for CFO Magazine. Starting in the early 1990s, he began writing a bi-weekly column called "Fraternizing With The Enemy," which he published on CompuServe. Some of the material in this book was adapted from those columns.
